THIS HIKE HAS CHANGED.... and no longer includes the RASTA VILLAGE.... photos will be added shortly.

This hike now starts from Martin's Bay and proceeds up the coast into Congor Bay.... we return to Martin's Bay through rural St. John, where you can see the farmlands and "kitchen gardens" of the inhabitants... and the diverse plant life of the island.

An alternative route, also starting in Martin's Bay, goes in the other direction through the jungle... descending though a banana farm... where we pause to view their livestock and other subsistence crops... as we discuss the history of the island and it's people

Distance: 3 miles

Time: 2 hours of hiking + 1 hour transportation + plus half hour for photos/ rest stops/ water breaks = 3.5 hours total time
