Morning Hikes start at 6:00 a.m.
Evening Hikes start at 3:30 p.m. except MOON hikes which start at 5:30 p.m.
All hikes last approx. 3 hours (except Great Train Hike)
There are 5 morning groups of different difficulty:
Stop and Stare... Extra Slow.... does between 5 to 6 miles in the 3 hours
Slow Medium.... does 6 to 8 miles in the 3 hours
Medium Medium.... does 8 to 10 miles in the 3 hours
Fast Medium... does 9 to 10 miles in the 3 hours
Grin and Bear.... Fast..... does approx. 12 miles in the 3 hours
There is only ONE evening group...... the Stop and Stare crew
ALSO Note:
The Independence Square hike takes most of the day... it starts in the morning and there are NO OTHER HIKES that day !

Jan 01 Cove Bay L4
at Pie Corner, take the Cove track all the way to an old windmill tower
Jan 08 Gun Hill..... Moon G2
Follow the road past the Lion, keep left up hill and take second
left, which is the sign posted to Gun Hill.
Jan 15 Codrington College J4
Meet at College car park.
Jan 22 Haggatts Old Sugar Factory A4
A few hundred yards south of Belleplaine - park in the old factory yard (not the Soil Conservation Station)
Jan 29 Foul Bay P5
Turn right half mile before Crane. Park down by the beach. (Foul Bay New Road).
Feb 05 Barbados Wildlife Reserve..... Moon E5
On map follow directions to Farley Hill.
Barbados Wildlife Reserve across road from Farley Hill.
Feb 12 Long Beach X4
Through Oistins and fork right via Ealing Grove and Chancery Lane to Long Beach
Feb 19 Independence Square (Great Train Hike) M3
Car park on south side of Careenage.
Feb 25 Archers Bay L1
Pass Crab Hill Police Station (be careful at intersections) and
continue North to end of road.
Mar 04 Barclays Park..... Moon A3
Meet at the side of the road by the restaurant, opposite the casuarina trees
Mar 11 Spring Hall Old Sugar Factory L3
Bear right after St. Lucy's Church. 1 1/2 miles along Highway 1C towards River Bay
Mar 18 Rock Hall Plantation E4
NOT Rock Hall Village, but Plantation in St. Peter. First right off
highway 2A off Bakers/Mullins via Black Bess quarries.
Mar 25 Indian Ground Sports Field A2
Highway 2A until right turn towards the Rock, bear left in Sailor Gully
and at top of road go right. Sports field is east of road
Apr 01 Orange Hill Pavillion..... Moon S1
Turn east off Highway 2A. Midway up the hill look for
pavilion on the right. Park in parking lot.
Apr 08 Applewhaites Plantation Yard G1
After Hothersal Turning, go through Bibby's Lane (Highway E).
After Exchange, bear right (dangerous junction) just before
Proutes and look for old factory chimney. Park in plantation yard.
Apr 15 Brighton Farms G3
From Norman Niles Roundabout, travel East on Highway 5
towards Bulkeley Old Sugar Factory. On passing Bulkeley and immediately
past the next four cross roads, fork right to Brighton Plantation.
Apr 22 Hackleton's Cliff Top O3
North of Villa Nova to Malvern and follow signpost to Hackletons Cliff.
Apr 29 Carrington's Old Sugar Factory P4
Just over a mile west of Six Cross Roads on Highway 5
