Morning Hikes start at 6:00 a.m.
Evening Hikes start at 3:30 p.m. except MOON hikes which start at 5:30 p.m.

All hikes last approx. 3 hours (except Great Train Hike)

There are 4 morning groups of different difficulty:
Stop and Stare... Slow.... does between 5 to 6 miles in the 3 hours
Medium.... does 8 to 10 miles in the 3 hours
Fast Medium... does 9 to 10 miles in the 3 hours
Grin and Bear.... Fast..... does approx. 12 miles in the 3 hours

There is only ONE evening group...... the Stop and Stare crew

ALSO Note:
1. The Independence Square hike takes most of the day... it starts in the morning and there are NO OTHER HIKES that day !
2.. There will be a picnic after the EVENING hike (picnic from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.) on selected hikes marked with Asterix (***)

    at Pie Corner, take the Cove track all the way to an old windmill tower
Jan 13 Foul Bay P5
    Turn right half mile before Crane. Park down by the beach. (Foul Bay New Road).
Jan 20 St.Thomas Post Office..... Moon T1
    The Post Office is at the west end of Welchman Hall Village.
Jan 27 Turners Hall Wood A6
    Highway 2D to Farmer's and Mose Bottom, turn right (towards Bawden's).

Feb 03 District C Police Station P2
    Highway 4B, turn left a mile east of St Philip's church
Feb 10 Haggatts Old Sugar Factory A4
    A few hundred yards south of Belleplaine - park in the old factory yard (not the Soil Conservation Station)
Feb 17 Independence Square (Great Train Hike) M3
    Car park on south side of Careenage.
Feb 24 Applewhaites Plantation Yard G1
    After Hothersal Turning, go through Bibby's Lane (Highway E).
    After Exchange, bear right (dangerous junction) just before
    Proutes and look for old factory chimney. Park in plantation yard.

Mar 02 Indian Ground Sports Field A2
    Highway 2A until right turn towards the Rock, bear left in Sailor Gully
    and at top of road go right. Sports field is east of road
Mar 09 ***Gun Hill G2
    Follow the road past the Lion, keep left up hill and take second
    left, which is the sign posted to Gun Hill.
Mar 16 Barclays Park..... Moon A3
    Meet at the side of the road by the restaurant, opposite the casuarina trees
Mar 23 Bottom Bay P3
    Follow Highway 5 to Phinneys and turn right at sign for
    Bottom Bay (good road, though not always shown on maps).
Mar 30 Lester Vaughn School T3
    via Sharon Moravian church, left to Shop Hill, school is on the right

Apr 06 Roberts Manufacturing M1
    West of Charles Rowe bridge.
Apr 13 Pool Plantation Yard J1
    Half a mile east of Four Cross Roads.
Apr 20 Conrad Hunte Cricket Ground... Moon A1
    Going north from St Andrew's church, take the road towards Morgan Lewis Mill
    and turn right to Shorey Village and cricket ground
Apr 27 Walkes Spring Plantation T2
    Turn right (dangerous corner) off Highway 2 after Hopewell
    cross Jack-in-Box gully and keep left. Yard is straight ahead of you.

May 04 ***Skeete's Bay P1
    Highway 4B, past Thickets, Three Houses to Bayfield, turn left
May 11 Barbados Wildlife Reserve E5
    On map follow directions to Farley Hill.
    Barbados Wildlife Reserve across road from Farley Hill.
May 18 Chalky Mount A5
    The School is on your left as you turn into Chalky Mount Village.
    Park in school yard.
May 25 Lodge School J3
    Via Four Cross Roads, Gall Hill and follow the road to the
    cemetery. Turn right, go straight on past Colleton Plantation.

Jun 01 Hackleton's Cliff Top O3
    North of Villa Nova to Malvern and follow signpost to Hackletons Cliff.
Jun 08 Cove Bay L4
    at Pie Corner, take the Cove track all the way to an old windmill tower
Jun 15 Codrington College..... Moon J4
    Meet at College car park.
Jun 22 Long Beach X4
    Through Oistins and fork right via Ealing Grove and Chancery Lane to Long Beach
Jun 29 Rock Hall Plantation E4
    NOT Rock Hall Village, but Plantation in St. Peter. First right off
    highway 2A off Bakers/Mullins via Black Bess quarries.

Jul 06 ***Heywoods Beach E2
    Car park to north of Almond Beach Village Hotel
Jul 13 National Stadium.... Moon M4
    Park on South side
Jul 20 Andrews Sugar Factory O2
    Highway 3, about halfway to Bathsheba
Jul 27 Archers Bay L1
    Pass Crab Hill Police Station (be careful at intersections) and
    continue North to end of road.

Aug 03 Bulkeley Plantation G5
    Park at Plantation up short road opposite factory (not at house or factory)
Aug 10 Bathsheba Community Centre O1
    The community centre is at Hill Crest, just down the hill from Andromeda Botanic Gardens
Aug 17 Spring Hall Old Sugar Factory.... Moon L3
    Bear right after St. Lucy's Church. 1 1/2 miles along Highway 1C towards River Bay
Aug 24 Portvale Sugar Factory S2
    Highway 2A, just north of St. Thomas parish church
Aug 31 Drax Hall Plantation G4
    Highway 4. Don't take road to Drax Hall Village, but next right to the Plantation

Sep 07 Bath J2
    Turn left at bottom of Coach Hill, first right at old sugar factory.
Sep 14 Hayman's Old Sugar Factory.... Moon E3
    Turn off Highway 2A where sign-posted to Haymans and Speightstown.
Sep 21 Carrington's Old Sugar Factory P4
    Just over a mile west of Six Cross Roads on Highway 5
Sep 28 ***Orange Hill Pavillion S1
    Turn east off Highway 2A. Midway up the hill look for
    pavilion on the right. Park in parking lot.

Oct 05 Castle Plantation Yard E1
    Not Castle Village but the Plantation. Reached by a cart track to the left soon after leaving Diamond Corner
Oct 12 Kendal Plantation Yard.... Moon J5
    Follow Highway 4 until you see pond on the left and old factory on the right.
Oct 19 Holetown S3
    Park opposite Police Station.
Oct 26 Turners Hall Wood A6
    Highway 2D to Farmer's and Mose Bottom, turn right (towards Bawden's).
    Meeting point is at junction about half mile down the road (former site of Turner's Hall plantation)

Nov 02 Windsor Plantation Yard G3
    Turn left off Highway 5, 1 1/2 miles after Boarded Hall (District B) Police Station.

    Meet at the side of the road by the restaurant, opposite the casuarina trees

    Highway 3, about halfway to Bathsheba
Dec 14 Searles Old Sugar Factory X2
    Highway 6 towards St Patrick's church. Old factory on south side of road
    (not plantation on north side)
Dec 21 Codrington College..... Moon J4
    Meet at College car park.
Dec 28 BNT Headquarters - Wildey House M5
    Next door to Carter's Complex, travelling South towards traffic lights at BET. First left after car park
